My name is Trevor Pascall and I and my family currently reside in Nettlebed, Oxfordshire, England. I have been in the UK for the last 7 years and before that I was resident in South Africa,I did a bit of woodwork at school in the 70's and then did'nt bother again until recently.

I purchased a lathe about 3 years ago and decided to teach myself how to use the lathe with help from various books (see my books webpage) and by joining the few woodturning newsrooms available.

After experimenting a lot I found I hate spindle work on really enjoy make bowls, goblets etc.

I have also branched out into woodcarving and use old logs to carve out heads at this stage.

I must say though, that after all of the woodturning and wood carving I generate a lot of sawdust and firewood. It is quite amusing to sit in front of our log fire with friends and see their faces when I throw an old reject bowl into the fire.
